Holiday snaps below:

These were all taken at intervals during our little North Shore Tour - of March/April this year. My writer friend, Jax Burgoyne (www.jaxburgoyne.com) and I flew over to the New World and embarked upon our 24 day tour of mostly New England. We explored bits of Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts (including Cape Ann, Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard,) Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey (including a day trip to Asbury Park, which was nice to see but not a patch on my much beloved Norfolk Sea Coast - bang in some snails in amongst the Springsteen souveneers and then we'll talk.)

We played a couple of fixed up gigs - and also some open mics. As expected there were good gigs and bad gigs, good hotels and bad hotels, good weather and bad weather and a lot of writing done on the road.

The highlight for me was either waking up early and going for a run around beautiful Falmouth on Cape Code; proper maple syrup and pancakes on a chilly Vermont morning OR maybe scratching lyrics into my notebook in many of the old singer-songwriter haunts off and around Bleeker, New York City.
